Silver Realm Capter2
The Trees rustled with wind as a storm swept in from the north. Most people were inside but there was a shadow slipping in and out of allies.
A tigeress stalked through the trees around the area, looking for a safe place to rest and wait out the storm. Not long after, the tigeress made her way into a large up-root under a tree, where she would be safe from preying eyes and the storm.
She felt as though she was being watched.
The tigeress backed up from the opening as far as she could, watching the entrance, laying ready to pounce.
She saw a cloaked figure.
She watched the cloaked figure carefully as to not give out her location incase he or she may attack her for what she was or just for her being there.
The figure seemed to inspect the area a moment later the cloak vanished and there stood a black wolf which quickly raced into the woods
The tigeress stepped from her hiding place, and raced into the woods. She was curious, yet she knew she wasn't going to reveal what she was anytime soon.
She saw the wolf racing ahead straight toward a cloaked figure that had a red cloak
The tirgeress ducked into some of the bushes, watching.
The wolf dropped something into the cloaked figure's hand and raced off. The claoked figure looked at the thing closely.
The tigeress tried to see if she could see what it was.
It looked like a note which the cloaked figure soon pocketed and began to walk.
The tigeress started to move through the woods, staying off the path, watching for the red cloaked figure.
She saw the figure move toward a clearing soon the figure was attacked by three cloaked figures wearing brown cloaks.
What's going on? the tigress thought.
The red cloaked man muttered something and skeletons began to appear attacking the brown cloaked figures.
What?
After a while one of the cloaked figures blew a horn and she saw a group of brown cloaked figures rushing to the fight. Soon the cloaked figure was subdued and the undead banished. "Lets take him to the authorities." One of them said, soon they headed back toward the city with their prisoner
((My tigeress is Ayslynn.... is the red cloaked figure Aster?? Or not??))
((no))
Ayslynn noticed a flash of movement from nearby and felt a pull.
Ayslynn looked towards the pulling, staying hidden.
She saw a red cloaked figure crouching in a copse of trees watching the others, there was a smaller figure near the other one
What do the red cloaks mean?
After the other group vanished the two remanding red cloaked figures began to move away.
Ayslynn followed the small group of red cloaks, curious as to why those in the brown cloaks disliked those in the red.
They entered a clearing and went into a hut. It was near a lake and looked peaceful. She felt a familiar twinge to it
Ayslynn headed through the brush, heading over to the lake. She laid down, still in her tigeress form by the lake, laying her head down on her paws watching the hut.
The small figure came out of the hut and headed toward the lake removing his cloak. He was a child in his early teens at most with silver hair. He stripped down into shorts and waded into the lake a moment later a handsome man emerged from the hut and went into the water as well. Her breath caught at how handsome he was.
Oh my... she thought, lifting up her head, watching.
The boy and man began to swim and play with each other splashing each other. It didn't look like they had spotted her
They seem so normal... a nice little family..... She thought as she moved a bit to watch better.
The man froze and whipped around. He stopped when he saw her, "Who are you?"
Ayslynn frooze, and then ran off.
I don't want to die... She hoped her tiger speed would help her.
she heard the sound of pursuit. "Wait!"
She ducked inside a root hole in a tree, curling up. She watched the entrance for her pursuer.
He stooped down looking at her. "I won't hurt you if you mean no harm to my son or I...why did you watch us?" His voice was strong but gentle and she liked it
She watched him with her green tiger eyes. She slowly moved to get out of the hiding spot. She looked up at him, her heart pounding. She liked his voice, yet she was scared.
"Who are you?"
Ayslynn shifted forms, to her humanoid form. "A Kyatt.... Ayslynn..." she said softly, still crouched down on the ground looking up at him.
His eyes widened and he quickly hugged her. "Ayslynn..."
Ayslynn stiffened. "We... know each other? I don't remember ever meeting you...?"
"You...are my wife..."He whispered. He was still without a shirt and holding her gently. His muscled chest against hers
"Wife? I've never married... I didn't leave home til a few months ago... I..." She was blushing.
"You don't remember?"
"I don't know what I'm suppose to remember... I... I was raised by my... human family... I... don't know who my true family is or was.... I..."
He looked at her in concern. "Does the name Aster mean anything to you?"
She felt like it was familiar and important.
"Aster...? It sounds familiar... important...." she whispered.
"It's my name...I'm your husband."
"What...?? When....did I get married...?"
"You were taken from me...I thought you were dead..."
"But... when.... I... I grew up with my human family.... I have a whole village that saw me grow up....I..."
"I...don't know what has happened...you don't remember me or our son?"
"I... was... found as a cub... my new family raise me, protected me...taught me....I....I don't feel like you are lying...but I'm so confused..."
"What if your memories were changed...or age reversal..."
"I have the scars from the attacks that the village did against me...the healed scars, because my family bound up the wounds...." she whispered. "They did so much for me...and they didn't have to..."
he hugged her. "I think your age was altered..."
"Why...? I really don't know...I really don't remember you or.... our son? I..." She looked down.
"Do you...want to know us?"
Ayslynn looked up at Aster. "I... I have a... son... I want to know.... I...have a.... husband... I...yes..."
He hugged her gently. "His name is Larkon." Once again there was familiarity
"That's.... familiar.... Larkon....my..
. baby..." she whispered.
"Want to come back to the home we built together...it may help and you could meet our son."
"I..." Ayslynn just nodded. She was so confused, but she had been looking for her family, she just didn't expect it would be a family she had apparently started.
He gently took her hand and lead her toward the house
Ayslynn walked with him, head down shyly.
He opened the door for her.
Ayslynn walked inside, unsure as to what to expect. She looked around the room.
It was cozy and familiar, Larkan looked up from a chair as they entered. "Who?"
"Larkan...this is your mother."
Ayslynn blushed. "Hi...?" she whispered.
Larkan's eyes widened. "You...are alive?"
"I... think.... I.... we.... age...." she didn't know what do say.
He hugged her. "I never got to know you."
"Oh.... I'm sorry... I... don't know..... what happened..." she whispered, hugging back subconsciously.
"You were taken when he was a babe." Aster said sadly.
"I... why....? Why did this happen...? I don't understand..." she whispered.
"Nor do I but I am glad you are back."
"I... you want me here...?" she whispered. "Really?"
"Of course. Even though you don't remember. You are still my wife."
"I...I was searching for family... but never thought I would find family that I helped start...." she said softly.
"I will help you."
"This is more than I could have asked for... I.... just help me remember.... Aster...." she said softly.
"I will try." He said gently hugging her
"Aster... what happened earlier?"
"These woods are scouted by rangers bent on bringing bloodknights to justice. It just so happens that Larkon and I are being hunted by both parties. Lucky for us our pursuer was captures and we weren't spotted."
"A...cloaked man...from the village... changed into a wolf and gave something to the man in the red....what are Bloodknights...?"
"They...like to kill. They lost their way."
"Lost their way?" she asked.
"We were knights sworn to justice...eventually they lusted for power and lost their way
Ayslynn nodded still confused. She looked around the room, just trying to remember.
It felt safe and familiar
"Was I...huh... I don't know what I'm trying to say..." she whispered looking down.
He gently hugged her. "You were a great wife and mother."
"Did... I know about... all of this...?"
"All what?"
"Bloodknights...?"
"I tried to protect you from it...which was wrong of me."
"What happened, Aster...?" she asked softly.
"They came at night...soon after I left their ranks I thought they killed you ant took our son. I managed to save Larkon when he was two..."
"Oh..." she didn't know what to say.
He hugged her close
"They came to punish you...."
"They did."
"Aster....I..."
"Yes?"
"I'm so sorry... for both of you...I..."
"It's not your fault angel"
Ayslynn looked at Aster and Larkon. "I... I...but..."
Larkan hugged her too. "You're here now."
"You two are the greatest....I.. I'm so happy to have found you.... both of you..." Ayslynn whispered as she hugged them.
"As am I." Aster said softly.
"What.... what now?" she asked softly.
"I try to help you remember."
Ayslynn nodded. "Thank...you..."
He hugged her lovingly.
"Where do we start?"
"I...show you around our home?"
Ayslynn nodded, with a smile.
He started to show here around the place seemed familiar
"It's beautiful..." she said softly.
"Is it familiar?"
Ayslynn nodded. "Yes... it is..." ((She had a white strip of hair, thanks to Aster marking her...after they re-meet...))((I know))
He gently kissed her and she remembered them being married
"Aster.... love...." she whispered to him, after kissing back, gently.
"You...remember?"
"Our... marriage..." she whispered.
He hugged her close. She remembered giving birth to Larkon.
She reached out and took Larkon's hand. "And your birth...."
He smiled. "You do?"
Ayslynn nodded. "Yes... I do..."
He smiled. "I am glad."
Ayslynn smiled. "Me too..."
"Are you hungry?"
She nodded. "Yes... I am...."
He lead her back to the kitchen where they prepared food
Ayslynn sat down. "Larkon....tell me about your.... life...."
"Father keeps me safe. He got me away from the others."
"That's wonderful...."
He nodded.
"I... grew up....loved, but unwanted by the village..."
They both hugged her
She hugged back.
"We want you."
"My human parents wanted me too..."
"What happened to them?"
"They still live in the village... I left to find my place..."
"Oh..."
Ayslynn nodded.
"What happens now? Have you found that place?"
She smiled at them. "I know I have..."
They hugged her gently
Ayslynn hugged back.
"what would you like to do now?"
"I don't know..."
"Follow me please." Aster said
"Oh... okay..."
He lead her to a room and knelt to get something from beneath the bed. It was an ornately carved and polished wooden box. He handed it to her. "Maybe this will help you remember. I carved it on your first birthday since our marriage...inside is all the treasures I managed to keep for you."
She had a flash of him handing her the box with a bouquet of rare flowers and telling her he loved her.
"The flowers...what.... were they again..." she whispered.
"You remember? Open the box it may help. But they were moon lily, crystal rose, winspur, and...see if you remember the last one." She remembered him telling her the name of the flowers the last one was a name that translated to eternal love.
Ayslynn opened the box. "Eternal Love..." she spoke softly.
He smiled. Inside were dried flowers from the bouquet, there were some boxes with jewelry in it a lock of bay's hair which she remembered was her son's, she noticed an exquisite box that she remembered had contained her engagement ring
Ayslynn smiled taking the engagement ring out.
He smiled as he saw it. "I managed to find it after you vanished..."
"It's beautiful..."
"I had it crafted for you."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Thank you Aster...."
"You're welcome angel." He stiffened as they both felt the pull.
"What?" she asked, looking towards the front of the house.
"I don't think we are as alone as I had hoped..."
"What's going to happen?" ((She still don't have the white stripe in her hair...))
((I know.))
"We fight if need be...May I...mark you as mine my love?"
"I... okay...."
He gently kissed her and took hold of a small portion of her hair, soon she noticed it became white
"I... wow...."
He smiled lovingly
She smiled.
She felt the other pull get closer
"It's getting closer..."
He frowned and looked like he was going on guard
"Go quickly... please both of you..." she whispered.
"I won't leave you and I don't think you are in danger..."
"You will be....you will be in danger...."
"Why do you say that?
"I dont' know...what you had said before.... about them...."
"I don't think it is one of them..."
"But...I'm just scared...."
He hugged her protectively
"I don't know want you hurt..."
"I know."
"What do we do?"
"Wait here while I check it out."
Ayslynn nodded.
He gently kissed her and headed for the door a hand on his sword."Stay with your mother." He said to Larkan who nodded
Ayslynn watched him worriedly.
He slipped out the door. Larkon walked over to her and hugged her.
"I.. I don't want Aster or the person outside hurt... I feel two pulls, Larkon..." she said hugging back.
He bit his lip as though trying to hide something. "I know mother."
"What? What do you mean?" she asked him.
"I...am not allowed to talk about it."
"About what? Larkon... someone or something has done something to my mind... to me.... I need to know..."
"It's not my place to say though..."
Ayslynn moved to head outside.
"Mother no..."
"I have to have answers, Larkon..."
"But...let me come with you at least."
Ayslynn nodded, and headed out side.
Aster slipped outside and headed straight for Tainn
Tainn could feel Aster coming.
He bit his lip not sure how to react.
They saw each other.
"What do you want traitor?!" Aster snapped.
Tainn recoiled at his anger. "I...was following another trail."
the pull lead to Aster and to the woman inside.
"I...still care for you...but I am following another pull."
Aster growled in anger
The second pull started to move to head outside.
Both of them looked toward the house
The pull stopped.
They watched the house closely
She saw both the guys looking her way
"Huh..." Ayslynn didn't know what to say, she felt drawn to both men.
"He was just leaving. " Aster said.
"Aster...please I can explain."
Aster glared at him as he walked over to Ayslynn
"Aster... he can explain what? Who is he?" she asked softly staring at Tainn.
"He is someone I once trusted and he betrayed me."
"Wha..." Ayslynn looked between them confused.
Tainn looked down. "I didn't..."
"Please someone tell me what's going on....?" Ayslynn pleaded. "Someone..."
"We...were lovers...he turned me in and betrayed me."
"I didn't I was framed!"
Ayslynn looked so confused and torn.
Tainn walked closer to Aster who slugged him in the face.
"Aster... please don't... I don't know what's going on....I don't like this...."
Tainn looked between them sadly. "I...will leave."
"And reveal my home to them? I think not." Aster said grabbing him roughly
tears started to form in Ayslynn's eyes. "I..." she ran, shifting into her tiger form, moving swiftly through the forests.
"Ayslynn!" Aster called. He dropped Tainn. "Watch him!" He called to his son as he ran after her
She continued to run in her tiger form.
"Please...what's wrong?!"
She turned around in her tiger form, and just laid down.
"Please...don't run away tell me what is wrong..."
She just looked at him, and shifted back, and burried herself in his chest. "Aster... I.... it hurts... I... love you... I feel it in my soul.... I...I.... feel for him too.... in my soul....it hurts to see you two fighting like that...I... want you both safe......" she cried, into his chest.
He held her. "What...should I do? I feel the same to him...but he turned me in I was nearly killed..."
"He said he was framed.. we need to listen to him... get his side of that....please.. for me... please...."
He nodded. "alright..."
Ayslynn stood up. "Thank you Aster..." she said looking down.
He hugged her
She hugged back.
"Shall we get back?"
Ayslynn nodded. "I'm sorry I ran...."
He hugged her gently. "It's ok..."
Ayslynn nodded, and then headed back with him.
Larkan was watching Tainn who looked upset
Ayslynn looked at Larkan. "I'm sorry I ran from all of you...."
"It's alright..." Tainn whispered
Ayslynn blushed looking at Tainn.
"What happened Tainn? Did you or did you not turn me in?"
"I never would...I love you."
Ayslynn blushed more, still not knowing or remembering much of her past.
"I...was framed please believe me."
"I don't know if I should..."
"Did he ever give you a reason not to trust him?" Ayslynn asked softly.
"Not before..."
"I... isn't there someway we can figure this out....?"
"I...don't know..."
Ayslynn sighed.
Oden walked up and stopped looking confused. "Aster...what is he doing and who is this?"
Aster turned to look and his eyes widened in worry. "What the hell happened to you Oden?"
"Hunters..."
Ayslynn looked worried.
Oden walked through the forest clutching his arm as it continued to bleed from his narrow escape.
Running could be heard.
Oden tensed sure he was being found. He readied to defend himself.
Through the trees, he saw a green cloaked figure going from branch to branch.
He winced as he looked for a place to hide fearing it was a ranger that would try to kill him.
The green cloak stopped in a tree near him. He felt eyes just staring at him.
He panted in pain and tensed ready to defend himself. "W...what do you want?"
The figure was silent. Then... You're... afraid of me...? Why are you afraid of me...?
"I...am not...afraid..."He swayed trying to fight the darkness that threatened to overcome him. The bleeding was now more evident and was soaking through his bandage. "Need...to go..." He managed as he started to move away. He fell to the ground and struggled to get up.
The cloaked figure leapt from the tree branch, landing on the ground softly. he kneeled at his side. You need help... allow me to help you...
"H...how...do I know if...I can trust you?"
You don't.... but I wish to help you... you may die if I do not....
He slowly nodded as he slipped into unconsciousness
He awoke sometime later, laying on a bedroll in a natural shelter, a fire burning near by. His wounds had been tended to.
He looked around.
He saw a figure kneeling by the fire, the hood was pulled back and he could see it was indeed a female. She had the long ears of the Siate, though she seemed like she was more. She appeared to be cooking something, enough for both of them.
He slowly sat up and winced at the pain.
She turned to look at him. You shouldn't push yourself too much...
"Who are you? Why did you help?"
My name is Asteria...I helped because you were wounded....
"Oden...thank you for the aid I know of others who would have finished me off."
Why...? As long as you don't harm the forest... I don't harm you...
He nodded. "I...don't know."
You may travel with me, for as long as you wish....
"Thank you...where are you headed?"
Around the forest...
"Oh. Thank you."
Asteria nodded.
"Thank you for aiding me too."
You are welcome.... hungry...?
"Yes...very."
She passed him a bowl of stew.
He thanked her and began to eat. "It's good."
Asteria nodded. I agree...
"Can you not speak?"
Asteria shook her head. I use to be able to...
"I am sorry."
It was a very long time ago...
He looked down. "It must be painful though."
It was... I was left for dead...
"I am sorry."
It was but the past...
"I was left for dead as well when I was a child...I know it is painful."
Asteria nodded. Eat up...
He started to eat. "Thank you."
She nodded. She just looked off into the forest observing it.
"What's wrong?"
I always keep an eye out....
"Oh. That is wise"
Inside...
"What?"
Get inside the tent... quickly...
He did so frowning
Asteria knelt ready for anything.
Asteria slowly backed into the tent. There are people in the woods coming this way....
He winced as he got up ready to fight
Down... you are in no shape to fight...
There was the sound of someone in the camp.
We could be outnumbered...I will need to.
How long can you hold your breath?
What do you mean?
"Identify yourselves!" Could be heard from outside the tent
Asteria caused the earth to swallow him, leaving a hole for air to get to him, making the hole look like snake hole.
He gasped in shock
Avaran walked through the forest observing the surroundings around him. He sighed and shook his head as though dissatisfied. He was dressed in ranger clothing that was dusty from travel. A moment later he froze and crouched as another figure approached. Slowly he relaxed as he saw the others similar clothing. "You are late Tain."
"Sorry...I had to take care of something. Lets head to the camp."
A ranger ran out of the woods towards them. "We're being attacked....!"
"What?! How many?"
"Twenty!"
They rushed to help
There were twenty Orcs attacking the ranger camp.
They attacked the orcs
Several of the orcs attacked Avaran and Tain, trying to over come them.
They attacked back
After a long wile, they had been able to kill all of the attacking orcs.
Avaran and Tainn checked on the others
They found a few dead, and many more injured.
They started helping their fellow allies
Other rangers started preparing for the dead, while others helped Avaran and Tainn.
"How did they get passed our defenses?"
"We don't know, sir...."
"We need to tighten our security than..."
The rangers nodded, and those that weren't tending to the injured or dead rushed off to do just that.
They helped tend to the wounded
A ranger came up. "Security has increased..."
"Good...I can't believe we lost so many. Are the children safe?" Avaran asked
"Yes, sir..." the ranger said, looking at both Avaran and Tainn.
"Good."
The ranger camp went back to normal, but for being on alert more.
Avaran and Tainn sat near a camp fire questioning the survivors that were on watch duty when the attack occurred
"They just appeared from the north, out of no where..."
"Appeared as in magic?"
The rangers nodded.
"Someone has to be helping them than...."
A ranger nodded.
"I don't like this..."
Another ranger ran up. "Sirs!"
"What now?!"
"We saw a red cloak of in the woods..."
"Blood Knights?"
The ranger nodded.
They looked grim
"What should we do?"
"We need to send word to our allies."
One of the rangers ran off.
Another asked, "Should we check it out?"
"yes..."
They ran off.
Avaran went to check it out while Tainn saw to the others
Some were fixing food, others working on the injured.
Tainn helped.
"Thank you for the help sir..."
"Of course. I can't believe they got past our defenses..."
The ranger nodded. "There are rangers looking into it...."
"I know..."
The rangers went back to the normal work around the camp.
He felt a faint pull.
Tainn cautiously headed that way
It slowly grew.
((Tainn only has a pull to two people remember))He continued that way
((Yes, Ayslynn and Aster... I remember...)) The faint pull became two.
He followed it
It grew stronger as he headed deeper into the forest.
He continued
He saw a lake through the trees.
he headed that way
He saw a cottage across the lake.
He headed toward it
The two pulls got closer.
He snuck toward a window
He saw a man and woman, both he had a pull to, and a young boy.
He watched silently
Avaran walked with one of his fellow comrades. "Where was the deathknight spotted?"
"He was heading this way..." one said, and lead them down the trail.
Avaran followed
He started to be drawn in the direction the ranger was taking him.
Avaran followed but frowned in confusion
"What's wrong sir?"
"Not sure...just a strange feeling."
"Oh... it's over that way that we spotted it..." the ranger said, pointing in the direction of the pull.
He carefully headed that way
He saw a tent up ahead.
He cautiously headed that way
He came into a camp sight, a low fire burned.
He cautiously crept forward
The pull lead toward the tent.
He stopped not sure if he should go any closer. "Identify yourselves."
A cloaked figure came out, the cloak was green. The pull lead to the figure.
"Are you a ranger of the wood?"
The figure nodded.
"Are you aware of the attack?"
The figure tilted her head, and shook it.
"The camp was attacked by deathknights and orcs."
The figure looked around the small camp. She pulled down her hood, looking at him confused.
"Not this camp...you don't know about the ranger camp?"
She stared at him. I protect my home...
"I see...be alert...and safe"
((Remember this is his/her love pull...))((I know))
The woods are my home...I will protect my home...
He walked closer. "Can you protect yourself alone?" He asked in concern
I've protected myself... my woods... my home since I was little....
"But recently activity has picked up...please...will you come with me back to the camp?"
This is my home... she thought to him softly.
"But you aren't safe..."
Why am I not?
"I just told you."
I can't leave my camp....
"Why?"
Because...I...my home....I... She looked down.
He gently put a hand on her shoulder. "You would be safer at the camp and we could help you defend your home."
She looked up at him. My home can't be defended...
"Why?"
Because my home will never be whole...
"Why do you say that?" He asked in concern
She just looked at him. Those I love are gone... all I have left are these woods...
"I am sorry...we can protect the woods together though."
I... She looked back at her tent.
"What?"
Nothing... I'll go with you....
"Do you need anything from the tent?"
I'll check....stay here.... she thought to him, She then hurried inside. She quickly called for Oden to be brought back out of the earth. She the quickly placed a hand over his mouth. Oden...don't say a word...</i.
he nodded silently
<i>I'm going to leave with the one outside of here....you can use this camp, okay?
Are you sure you can trust that person?
I.. feel drawn to them...
Be careful
Asteria nodded, gathering some of her more important items. be safe... She headed out of the tent, putting her bag on her back. I'm ready...
"Follow me and keep alert...you sure you don't want to pack your whole camp?"
It's nothing I can't remake.... She followed him.
He lead her toward the camp. "My name is Avaran."
She looked at him. Asteria...
"Nice you meet you. Have you seen any knights or orcs lately?"
Knights?
"Bloodknights."
Asteria just looked ahead. No... I haven't....I don't think... what are bloodknights...?
He described them. "You haven't heard of them?"
No... should I have?
"They are infamous."
Where have people talked about them?
"Everywhere. The towns, cities, travelers..."
I've lived in this forest all my life... I make what I need...
"I...feel strange around you and I want you safe...please don't think me strange but it is true...."
I have the same feelings... and forgive me... I haven't been around many...
He hugged her gently. "It is fine...forgive me." He kissed her
Asteria's eyes widen, but she started to kiss back.
"I love you."
You love me....? I...I....I love you.......
"You do?"
I....feel it....
He hugged her gently and kissed her. Asteria thought she felt more padding in the chest area than a guy should have
I...Avaran... did you get hurt...?
"No.Why?"
It's just that it felt like you had extra wrappings....
He blushed. "Umm...please don't tell anyone...I am a girl..."
Asteria blushed deeply.
She looked down. "I...am sorry...."
Why......? she whispered.
"I...am a girl and I kissed you..."
I..liked it...
"You did?"
She nodded softly.
She kissed her again
Asteria kissed back, blushing.
"Come one...we should get back."
Asteria nodded.
She lead the way to the camp
Taranis walked through the forest silently as he left the area he had recently placed flowers at.
He heard foot steps coming his way.
He stiffened and looked around
He saw a man walking his way, a Siate/Elf by the look of him. He wasn't wearing any footwear or a shirt, but he did have markings all over his body. He had long silver hair, with braids in some parts. He was walking with a staff.
He watched him carefully as he went on guard
The Siate stopped a ways from Taranis. He nodded to him in greeting.
He returned the gesture.
"Beautiful region..."
"Aye...it is. Traveling through?"
"I don't know... everywhere is my home..."
"I see. My home is no more...."
"I am sorry to hear that, sir..." ((Remember, he is currently under the control of someone...)) ((i know))
He nodded sadly.
The Siate closed his eyes to pray for the man.
He felt the urge to attack him
The Siate opened his eyes, and they seemed different. He started to attack him with his staff.
Taranis began to defend himself. "What are you doing! Break out of it!"
The ground at Taranis's feet shook, and vines began to attack him.
He started to dodge and command the vines to bind his attacker
The Siate dodged, and he continued his attack.
He sighed. "I don't want to hurt you, your mind seems to be ensnared." He said trying to help him to break out of it
The Siate shook his head. "I..." He attacked again.
He broke out of it.
Taranis was still on guard
The Siate looked at him. "I... I should leave.... I..."
"What just happened?"
"I.... don't know..... what happened?"
"You started attacking me..."
"I... so sorry...."
"I believe you are being controlled..."
"Why....?"
"I don't know..."
"I'm sorry...I... should go...."
"No...we need to get you help."
"But..."
"But what?"
"I don't want to...what if something happens again?"
"And if you don't get help it will."
The Siate nodded.
"I know there is a ranger camp around here...maybe they could help you."
"I shouldn't...."
"Why?"
"I don't want to be trouble...."
"You will be if you don't get help"
He nodded.
"Come on...the sooner we get you help the better." He said leading him deeper into the woods.
The Siate walked with him.
They came into view of some scouts.
"Stop, hold there!" one scout shouted.
"It is I Taranis friend to the rangers of the wood. I have a friend here who needs a spell lifted."
"Quickly then to the camp... there are knights and orcs about..."
He cursed and let his companion into the camp. "How many?"
"The orcs are unknown... and we spotted at least one knight...."
"Not good."
"No sir..."
"I wonder what there motive is..."
"We don't know....." they lead the two travelers towards a camp.
"Where is the leader?"
The leader walked up. "I am..."
"This man has a curse on him and I was hoping you could help him."
The ranger leader looked the Siate over sensing for the source of the curse.
She found it
"The arm bands... take them off..."
"No... they were a gift from my love..."
"Someone may have enchanted them."
"That's impossible..." the Siate said.
"It is possible..."
"Take them off...please, after they are checked we can return them."
"I..." He took off the bracers.
Teranis watched silently
"There is a spell that was placed on these..."
"What??"
"A bad spell?"
The ranger nodded, and then started work on them.
"Why...?" the Siate whispered.
"Do you have blank spots in your memory where someone may have done this?"
"I have alot of blank spots...."
"Than it is possible someone made you forget after tampering with it..."
"I can't believe this...."
"I am sorry. It must be hard."
"It had been a gift from my love... yes it's hard..."
"Where is your love?"
"Dead..."
"I...am so sorry I lost mine too."
The Siate nodded.
"What is your name? I am Taranis."
"...Raith..."
"I am pleased to meet you I wish it were under better circumstances."
Raith nodded. "Yeah... I try to kill you...."
He smiled grimly. "It wasn't your fault."
"It still feels like it..."
He put a hand on his shoulder trying to reassure him
"I believe we have taken care of the spell..." said the ranger.
"Really?" Raith asked.
The ranger nodded, handing Raith his bracers.
Taranis smiled thankfully at the ranger. "Thank you for helping him."
"You are welcome..."
Raith replaced the braces on his wrist.
"Is there room for us to both rest here for now?"
"Yes sir there is space...." the ranger said.
"Lets get something to eat." He suggested to Raith
Raith nodded. "Alright... Thank you again...." the ranger nodded.
They were given some food at the central campfire
Raith just looked at the food, staring off into space.
"Are you alright?"
"I was just thinking....."
"I am glad were able to help you."
Raith nodded.
He fell silent not sure what more to say
"Does it ever get better?"
"Does what?" He asked in concern
"The death..."
He sighed. "I know not...some go peacefully...others...like my family....violently. Did your love go peacefully?"
"The home I shared with her was a blaze...."
"I am so sorry."
He nodded. "It was terrible...."
"The loss of my wife and daughter was too."
"I'm sorry..."
He told him what happened. "I used to envy those who had loved once die peacefully than I realized the pain was the same....when a loved one dies the gap is still there..."
Raith nodded. "A deep gap..."
He put a comforting hand on his shoulder
Raith did the same to him.
"It seems you and I have experienced similar misfortune."
Raith nodded.
"Let's think of something more positive."
Raith nodded. "Yes..."
"So what are your goals?"
"JUst to survive..."
"That's all?"
"There's nothing else for me to do...."
"Seek happiness again..."
"It's too painful..." He looked at Taranis. "Have you sought happiness again...?"
"I didn't want to at first...but my family would have wished my happiness...I haven't found anyone yet but I am seeking happiness."
"I am still not ready..."
He looked at him sympathetically. "I know it is hard..."
Raith nodded.
"Fate is cruel."
"I agree..."
"Will you stay here for awhile?"
"Alright... I have no where to go..."
"I will try to help you..."
"Thank you..."
He nodded.
Raith looked around the camp.
"I can show you around if you would like."
Avarana lead Asteria into the camp. "Oh...Teranis is visiting." She murmured.
Teranis?? Asteria thought to her, stopping.
Valikan paced his room muttering darkly as he looked at his runes bidding them to change but they didn't."What does this mean? A stranger and yet an old acquaintance? A possible ally and yet an enemy?" He muttered in anger.
There came a knock at his door.
"What?!" He snapped in annoyance
"Mistress wishes to speak with you..."
He sighed trying to overcome his annoyance as he appeared before her. "My lady?"
"Ah Valikan... how is my mage?"
"I am well my lady, a bit annoyed with the runes but well"
"Oh?"
"They are riddles today....A stranger and yet an old acquaintance. A possible ally and yet an enemy. I can't make sense of it."
"Odd... I am sure you will discover the meaning..."
"Perhaps...is there something you needed my lady?"
"I was just wishing to check on you Valikan before I go through with the start of my plans..."
"What plans?"
"For my love...." she said.
He looked a little shocked and hurt. "Your love?"
She walked up to Valikan. "Oh Valikan.... love..." she kissed his cheek. "Do you think I don't love you?"
He hugged her gently. "Than who do you speak of?" He asked as he gently kissed her neck.
"Another that I love...he hurt me terribly... and I wish to punish him..."
"I will help you than." He said lovingly as he gently kissed her.
She kissed back. "Thank you love..."
"What do you desire me to do?"
"I desire you to prepare a cell in which none may escape..."
"I will do so." He said kissing her once more.
She kissed back, before letting him go.
He went to prepare the cell
He saw creatures pass by.
He sighed as he worked on the project.
He started to make great progress on the cell.
He worked more on it
He finished it.
He called one of the creatures and told them to get her
The Lady came. "Valikan?"
"What do you think?"
"Does it work?"
"Of course. need a demonstration?"
"Yes... please..."
He called in one of the powerful creatures and placed it inside. "Try to get out."
The creature attempted to escape.
The cage held and shocked him
The creature roared.
"Good... very good..."
"Shall I let him out?"
"Do what you want with him..."
he released the creature. "He is powerful and may come in handy for the future."
"Keep him..."
He nodded. "Are you pleased?"
She smiled. "Indeed I am..."
He kissed her. "I am glad my lady."
She kissed back. "I will let you go back to your work..."
"Oh...alright."
"I would hope to be seeing you later..."
He smiled. "But of course."
She kissed him again, and left.
He returned the kiss and than sat to work
The creature fought the cage.
He sighed and observed it. "You can't escape."
It hissed at him.
He smirked. "Don't do that."
It glared at him, struggling again.
He turned and walked away
He made it to where he was going.
He worked on other assignments
He felt a kiss on the back of his neck.
He turned to look
It was the lady.
He smiled and kissed her
"My lover..." she whispered.
He smiled and kissed her again. "What can I help you with?" He said lovingly as he caressed her face
"You can help me with...." she started to kiss deeply.
He kissed back and brought his hands up under her shirt teasing her nipples
"MMM..." she moaned as she stuck a hand into his pants gently squeezing his member.
He gasped in pleasure and removed her shirt suckling her nipple while foundling her other breast
she moaned, pulling down his pants, and then claimed his cock in her mouth.
He arched against her with a gasp
She smirked, and sucked deeply.
He gasped pushing her head down a bit
She added his balls into her mouth.
He gasped squirming with desire as he began to cum in her mouth
"MMMMMmmm I know you'd like that..."
He panted and pulled away pushing her down on the bed and gently thrusting in
"Ahhhhh! oh yes!"
"I love you"
"I love you too Valikan..."
He fondled her breasts as he made love to her
Soon they were done. She stroked his hair and chest.
He held her close stroking her hair as well. "I love you."
"I love you too..." she muttered.
He fell asleep
The next time he woke, he was alone.
He sighed and sat up he cleaned up and dressed
He heard the growling from the creature still in his cage.
"Shut up."
It roared.
He grinned and struck it with lightning, not killing it but causing it pain
It roared again in pain.
He smirked. "Than be silent."
"Meal!"
"You want food?"
"YOu!"
He grinned. "You want to die?"
The creature roared.
"Shut up. I won't be your food and you will obey or die."
The creature growled.
He smirked and went to work
He got a lot of work done.
He went to check on his lover
He found her sitting in front of a large mirror. "Hello, lover..." she said, seeing him in the mirror.
He smiled. "What are you doing beauty?"
"I am good just fine now that you're here..."
He put his arms around her waist. "I was thinking." He said kissing her neck. "Can I feed the man who hurt you to the monster in the cage?"
"No... I want to deal with him myself..."
"Alright." He said kissing her neck
"mmmm....you know how to make me feel so good..."
He undressed her and himself. "I want to try something." He murmured and entered her doggy style
"Oh.... yes..." she moaned in pleasure.
He picked up pace
She moved her body faster.
He came in her hard
She gasped.
He pulled out and smiled. "I liked that."
"As did I lover..."
He smiled and laid down on the bed pulling her down on his shaft and smiling. "I just want to make sure you are mine love."
She moved on his shaft, riding it. "Just as you are mine...."
He smiled
She moved down, kissing him, keeping him in her.
He kissed back
"Mine...." she murmured.
He smiled up at her. "And you are mine.' He said setting up while staying in her.
"All mine..."
He smiled and kissed her
She kissed back.
He started to shove deeper into her
"Mmmmm" she moaned against his lips.
He shoved as deep as he could making love to her
She moved around, giggling.
"What's so funny?"
"Nothing...I just enjoy this with you..."
He smiled and kissed her neck
"Mmmmm...."
He shoved in deeper and played with her asshole.
she moaned. "You make me feel great..."
"I am glad." He murmured sucking her breast while still playing with her and making love to her
She nipped his neck.
Chyrosa walked through her family's camp, watching as fathers and mothers worked with the camp's children, teaching them the was of the gypsy.
She thought she saw a figure dart into a storage wagon
Chyrosa headed off in that direction as if she needed something. She peered into the storage wagon, looking around.
She noticed a cloaked figure she felt drawn to going through stuff
"Hey!" she said.
The figure froze and drew a sword. "Get out of the way!"
"You're stealing for my clans' storage wagon..."
"I am not stealing anything. I am taking what is owed to me."
"Owed? What are you talking about?"
"I did my part of the bargain they need to uphold their end."
"This is my families!"
"They didn't give me what they said they would so I am going to take that share and leave."
"No you're not!"
He stared at her. "I thought that if someone makes a deal to someone and promises them supplies in return for services and the one person upholds their end of the bargain than the other person should too. I did the services and they tried to kill me when I asked for my payment."
"What? They wouldn't do that... not all of them..."
"They did."
"You have to talk to them... and steal from us..."
"I tried talking to them and they tried killing me. I am not stealing I am talking what is owed."
"You'll have to go through me...."
He sighed. "So you will stop me?"
"If I have to... it is my duty.... this is my home..."
He sighed. "Fine." He started grabbing a few more things and putting them in a bag
"I said, stop!"
"or what?"
Chyrosa pulled out her steel fans.
He narrowed her eyes. "I don't want to hurt you but if it is necessary I will."
"Same for you..." she said, gazing at him ready for anything.
he put more in his bag watching her for her reaction
"Put it all back, I said!" she said, coming towards him.
"No." He said looking at her and than darting past her quickly.
Chyrosa chased after him, cursing herself for not being quicker.
He rushed into the woods
"Get back here!" She ran faster.
He ran up to a cliff wall and turned around to face her. "I only took what was mine."
Chyrosa stopped in front of him. "It belongs to my camp!"
"No it doesn't It is the payment owed to me for my services."
"You're coming back to the camp!"
"And if I refuse?"
"Don't refuse..."
"They would kill me if I went back so I refuse."
"Not if I order them not to..."
"They won't listen,"
"I'm the leader's daughter"
"They want me dead."
"And I want you alive..."
"Why?"
"I... I..." she lowered her fans. "...feel... something for you...."
He froze. "I...for you too..."
"You do?"
He nodded slowly
"I... please... trust me..." she said softly. "I don't want to hurt you...."
"I can't go to your camp they will kill me."
"I won't let them..."
He looked unconvinced
"Please... I will kill anyone of them if they lay a hand on you..."
"Can I...show you something first? Just in case."
Chyrosa nodded. "Yes...."
he lead her a little ways away and moved some brush to reveal a hidden cave. He lead her inside. Soon she saw light being cast back at her, the whole cave sparkled with millions of gems and precious stones.
"Oh wow.... beautiful...."
"Not as beautiful as you."
She blushed brightly.
"I like this place."
"I do too..."
"I really did do the work for those supplies..."
"Take... it..." she said softly.
he looked at her in surprise. "You believe me?"
"Everyone in the camp can be double handed..." she said softly.
He gently hugged her
She hugged back.
"What should we do?"
"Please come back..."
"Alright..."
She took his hand, squeezing it gently.
He gently squeezed back
"You are under my protection within the camp... alright?"
"alright."
She calmly walked back towards her camp.
He followed uncertainly
((Chyrosa doesn't know his name...))((I can't remember his name><))
"Stop!" one of the gypsies called out.
He stiffened going on guard
"No... he is with me..." Chyrosa said with authority.
"He is a thief and not wanted here...."
"You are a thief too and I have brought him here as my guest...."
Keda glared at the gypsy. "I am no thief."
Chyrosa just lead him past the guard and towards her father's tent. "Father..." she called out.
"Yes?"
Chyrosa lead her guest into his tent.
"What is he doing her?!"
"He's my guest father... that's why.."
"He isn't welcome here."
"He is my guest father...!"
"He is a thief. "
"I am no thief you owed me supplies in return for my services and tried to kill me when I came to collect!" Keda snapped
"I have never seen you before until you attempted to steal the night before boy.."
"Father! Tell me the truth! Please..."
"He was hired for a job but he didn't do it and he still tried to collect payment."
"I did do the job and you know it!"
"What was the job?"
"Spying on another camp."
"And he didn't? Father... then where did you get that information a while back from?"
He cursed under his breath. "You are siding with him?!"
"I'm not siding with him.....I just asked him where that information that he had gotten a while ago came from...." Chyrosa said.
Her father glared at him
"Father!! Answer me!" Chyrosa shouted glaring. "I love you father, but I am hating this..."
Her father sighed. "Very well...The boy did the services asked but than we found out who he was."
"Who he is? What does that mean?"
"He is the prince of a rival group."
"What...? He is... I..." She looked at him. "Is that true?"
"I left them..."
"You did? Really?" she asked.
"yes...my father wanted me to kill..."
Chyrosa looked down, then at her father. "He is staying here, father...."
"What?! He could be lying!"
"I'm not lying."
"Father, I am to be the next leader of our group after you....I have the ability to decide who stays and who goes...I believe him..."
He glared in anger but said nothing. "If he does anything against us you will be punished he is your responsibility."
"Yes father.... and if any of the thieves that you have brought in do anything, who is responsible?"
"Get out." Her father said in anger
Chyrosa nodded. "Yes father...." Chyrosa lead her guest out of the tent, and into another. "What is your name...?"
"Keda..."
"I am Chyrosa....I... I'm sorry about before..."
He hugged her gently. "It's alright."
She hugged back. "I've never seen my father like that...."
"Really?"
She nodded.
"I am sorry."
"No... it's okay..."
